Advantages of training under Mary Mary is certified through the Golden State Dance Teachers Association and teaches the Universal Unit System. The Universal Unit System is the standard curriculum for West Coast Swing through GSDTA. It is approved by the World Swing Dance Council It is known for taking beginners and having them look more like mature dancers in the shortest period of time available.
The Universal Unit System is taught by many top competitors as well as many top teachers. It is also used in 30 colleges that teach dance including California State University Long Beach, Brigham Young University, University of New York, etc. Entire dance clubs have raised their level of performance by using the GSDTA standard West Coast Swing curriculum and the Universal Unit System as a preferred method of teaching. This is the method Mary uses for Swinging Mondays. Swinging Mondays 6:30-8:30: This class is for people with West Coast Swing experience or who wish to take their dancing to a new level. This session will focus on musical connection as well as more advance leadable combinations. Motion Study – that which brings out the dancer in you, is included!
